Everglades Moon Local Council is not known to rest on our laurels. While the summer is heating up, we’re busy making plans for the 2nd half of 2012. Here’s what we’re up to:
Merry Meet 2012: Several members of our local council will be proudly representing EMLC at this year’s Merry Meet, held in Albuquerque, NM by Chamisa Local Council this August. We know the hard work and effort that goes into crafting a successful MM, and we are so looking forward to having a fun time in the desert with our CoGKin!
EMLC 2013 Calendar: Final preparations are in place on our 2013 calendar. The calendar will premier at Merry Meet. If you plan to be in Albq with us, find an EMLC’er to get a copy of your calendar! All proceeds of the calendar go to EMLC and help fund events like Turning the Tide, as well as help assist our members attend events like Merry Meet. A big calendar sale announcement will be posted in August!
Turning the Tide 2012: Planning is already underway for Turning the Tide, 2012. Mark your calendars and save the date! Join us November 30-December 2 for a weekend of workshops, rituals, and community building. And, of course, lots of fun and singing! Our registration forms will be available soon, and if you’re interested in presenting a workshop, just leave a comment below and our Workshop Coordinator will get back to you!
This is just a small view into what we’re working on for the second half of 2012. We’re also participating in Pagan Pride Days in September, attending workshops and festivals throughout the summer and fall, and planning our own community building events as well.
